# PUTTLE PUTTLE is a free daily pixel-art mini-golf puzzle — like Wordle for golf. Play it at [https://puttle.golf](https://puttle.golf/) in any modern browser; there is no download and no account. It is not a word game. It is not the physical Puttle putting mat. ## How to play Drag back from the ball like a slingshot, then release to putt. Pull farther for more power. The aim line shows **direction only** — you read the banks and judge distance yourself. Sink all **5 holes**. Bank off rails and posts, pop carnival bumpers, bank a spinning windmill, sliding gate, crossing boom, rolling log, spore gate, or mine cart, bounce on mushroom pads, slow down in sand, glide on ice, skirt water, ride amber speed strips, and watch sloped greens curve the ball. Miss a line? Undo takes back your last putt. A round with no undos is a **clean card** after you finish. On a keyboard: **← →** aim, **↑ ↓** or **+** / **−** set power, **1 2 3** snap SOFT · MED · HARD, **Space** putts, **C** opens the scorecard, **U** undoes, hold **V** to peek. Optional gems (5 per daily) do not change your score. Collect all 5 on one daily to unlock the Sapphire ball. Need a no-pressure round first? Practice mode is unlimited and does not affect your streak. The first time you tap PLAY TODAY, a one-hole RANGE teaches a bank shot before the daily counts. After you finish the daily you can Practice this course — same holes, unofficial. ## Scoring Par is the target number of strokes. Under par is better, over par is extra strokes, and **E** means even — right on par. A splash in water costs **+1** stroke, then you replay from where you putted. Gems never add or subtract strokes. After the round you can share a spoiler-free scorecard and, if you like, appear on the global honor-system leaderboard or a friends group. On the daily, faint ghost balls of other players who posted can replay their strokes on the green — decoration, not a walkthrough; posted friends tint a distinct color, and after you hole out one or two traces loop on that green as a gallery. The recap map shows their traces under yours after you finish. The daily is one official attempt; a mid-round checkpoint means closing the tab does not lose the round. After you finish, Practice this course retries the same holes without touching your streak or the board. A wild practice layout can be shared as a seed-only link. Stats shows a month of your cards — tap a past day to replay it unofficially. ## When it resets There is one 5-hole course per local calendar day, identical for every player, seeded by the date. A new course appears at **local midnight**. Day #1 was June 1, 2026. From day 81 the round is a park-style tour with named hole silhouettes (dogleg, island, keyhole, and others) and rotating worlds that play differently. Seasonal and holiday visual themes re-skin the course by date. PUTTLE is installable as a PWA. It is completely free; Google AdSense may show ads.
