# Thanksgiving mini golf: Harvest Homestead

Every year in **US Thanksgiving week**, PUTTLE's free daily 3D mini-golf course sits down to the feast. From Monday to Sunday every world is dressed for it and each daily brings feast toys and ends on a set piece of its own, and on **Thanksgiving Day** itself the daily moves to **Harvest Homestead**, a family farm at harvest. Play it at [https://puttle.golf](https://puttle.golf/) in any modern browser. Everyone on that date gets the same five holes.

## When to play

- **Any day of the year:** [play a Harvest Homestead course now](https://puttle.golf/?practice=&world=homestead). That link opens a random practice course on the farm straight from this page, whatever the date, with the feast toys in it. It never touches your streak.
- **1 November to the end of Thanksgiving week:** random Harvest Homestead courses are in the game's own practice picker, on the 🌍 World Tour sheet.
- **All November:** each daily you finish punches the **November card** — an Acorn ball at 5 punches, an Embers trail at 10, a Harvest Moon ball at 20 — and a daily played on Thanksgiving Day earns the **Pumpkin Pie ball**.
- **Thanksgiving week, Monday to Sunday:** every world is set for the feast, and each daily brings two of the feast toys, each in the place of a classic, hole 5 is the day's own set piece, and every ball wears a costume. In 2026 that is 23–29 November, dailies #176 to #182; in 2027, 22–28 November, #540 to #546.
- **Thanksgiving Day, the fourth Thursday of November:** the daily is in Harvest Homestead, the same farm for every player. In 2026 that is Thursday 26 November, daily #179; in 2027 it is Thursday 25 November.

## A finale for every day

Each day of the week has a theme, and on every day but Thanksgiving hole 5 is the day's own set piece, a par 5 built for it.

- 🛒 **Monday, Grocery Run:** Cleanup on Aisle 5 — past the pumpkin pile and into a stack of cans.
- 🍳 **Tuesday, The Kitchen:** Kitchen Rush — the potato masher, the lazy Susan, then the gravy river.
- 🎈 **Wednesday, Parade Eve:** The Big Parade — two parade crossings, with bumpers and pop-up posts between.
- 🦃 **Thursday, Thanksgiving:** the Turkey Trot — in Harvest Homestead, turkeys on holes 1, 3 and 5.
- 🥪 **Friday, Leftovers:** The Fridge Raid — a pumpkin roll out of the fridge, then a ring vault round the cup.
- 🏈 **Saturday, Backyard Football:** Hail Mary — tackling dummies, a line of pegs, and a goalkeeper to beat.
- 🧒 **Sunday, The Kids' Table:** bowling pins and the lazy Susan, then the world's boss.

## Seven feast toys

- 🦃 **Wild turkeys** strut from rail to rail across the lane and stop at each rail for a look round. Go behind one as it sets off, or through the gap as two pass; one that meets the ball shoos it aside. On Thanksgiving Day they are on holes 1, 3 and 5, more of them each time — the Turkey Trot.
- 🥘 **The gravy river** is a ford of thick gravy that eats a putt's pace and carries a slow ball over the gravy falls (+1). Putt firm, or aim upstream and let it bring you back.
- 🎃 **The pumpkin roll** is a steep patch that giant pumpkins roll down, left, right and down the middle in turn. Climb with pace just after one has passed, on a line it isn't coming down.
- 🥔 **The potato masher** wobbles, then comes down into the mash. Go under it while it's up; a ball it lands on is mashed (+1).
- 🎉 **The parade crossing** starts with a drum roll, then a float rolls across the lane and back. Go when the drums stop, or squeeze in just after a float; a ball the float meets is swept up in the parade (+1).
- 🏈 **Tackling dummies** swing across the lane from a blocking sled. Time the putt to slip through as one swings away; one that meets the ball knocks it aside.
- 🍽️ **The lazy Susan** is the dinner table's turntable, the gravy boat in the middle. Ride the turn round one side, or fight it on the other.

## Harvest Homestead

A family farm on a crisp golden afternoon: turf gone gold at the edges, barn-red board fences with white braces for rails, maples and apple trees, hay bales, corn shocks and pumpkins, a big red barn and silo, a farm stand, and fields of stubble far below. Wild turkeys wander about, and the song is **Hayride Hoedown**, a barn dance on fiddle, harmonica and banjo. ## A game for after the meal

The rules don't change: stroke play against par, rolling off an island is +1, and gems never change your card. It's free, there's no account, and a round takes a few minutes. For a table of relatives, **👨‍👩‍👧 Play with your family** in Practice passes one phone, tablet or computer round two to four players, fewest strokes wins; on separate devices, **🎉 Play with friends** puts up to eight of you on one course at once.
