PUTTLE

HAZARDS

PUTTLE hazards

PUTTLE hazards are the obstacles on each daily mini-golf map. Water is the only scoring trap. Everything else changes how the ball rolls. Par stays a function of the fairway. Play at puttle.golf.

What costs a stroke

Water — splash is +1, then you replay from where you last putted. At most one pool per hole. It hugs one rail so a dry lane stays open. It never sits on the tee or the cup. A moat silhouette wraps water around the cup green. You still have a dry lane onto the island.

What changes the roll (not the score)

Moving toys (never wait)

From day 89 these travel on a hole clock — the same motion for everyone on that date. They hug one rail. A dry lane stays open the whole cycle. Bank them or leave the lane. Do not stand and wait.

What never counts

Optional gems (five per daily) do not change par or your score. Collect all five on one daily to unlock the Sapphire ball. The Director's Challenge and the week-long extra are score-neutral. Worlds, cosmetics, and seasonal themes do not change the card.

How to play them

Peek the whole hole before the hard shot. If the only heroic line crosses water, the safe bank is usually the card. A surprise bumper pop is how you find a pool. Pads and strips are launches you planned, not scenery.
