Build your own mini golf hole
PUTTLE's 🛠 Hole Builder is a free mini-golf hole maker in the browser at https://puttle.golf. Line up toys and turns, pick a world and a green, and it lays out a real 3D hole with a par — then you putt it, and send a friend the link.
How to build a hole
- Open https://puttle.golf, tap 🌍 World Tour, then 🛠 Hole Builder.
- Pick a world. It dresses your toys its own way — in Neon Nights the sliding gates are laser gates, in Backyard Giants the windmill is a sprinkler.
- Add pieces from tee to green: ＋ Toy, ＋ Dressing, ↰ Left, ⬆ Run and ↱ Right, up to nine in all. Tap × on a piece to take it out.
- Choose a green — flat, tilt, bowl, tier, volcano or saddle — and name your hole (up to 24 characters).
- Check the plan: it draws the hole from above as it will be laid, with its par, or tells you it won't fit.
- Tap ▶ Play it to putt it in 3D, and 🔗 Copy link to send it as a challenge. 🎲 Surprise me starts you from a random hole.
What you can put in
22 toys: pinball bumpers, a windmill, sliding gates, a spinner, a pendulum, a turntable, a river crossing, a vortex, a loop-the-loop, a jump, a plank bridge, a banked hairpin, a glass spiral, terraces, a hill, moguls, a conveyor belt, a drawbridge, the Sky Cannon, pick-a-pipe, a leap to the green and a ring vault. 6 dressings: a planter island, a chicane, a peg garden, a keyhole, a bunker and a springboard. 6 greens: flat, tilt, bowl, tier, volcano and saddle.
The Sky Cannon, the pipes and the leap fling the ball onto the green, so they end the fairway; the ring vault puts two turning rings round the cup. Any of the eight worlds works — Blossom, Canyon, Frost, Neon, Lagoon, Cosmic, Coral Deep, Backyard Giants — plus Haunted Hollow from 1 October to 7 November.
A real hole, with a real par
A built hole isn't a sketch. It's laid out by the same course designer as the daily holes — the one that lays the Sunday Signature finales — checked the same way, and priced by the same par estimate, so its par means what a daily's does. The designer lays the fairway, rails, slopes and island between your pieces. If they can't be laid without running into each other, the builder says the hole won't fit instead of handing you a broken one.
Send a challenge
🔗 Copy link makes a link that carries the whole recipe — world, green, pieces and name — so whoever opens it lands straight on your hole, sees its par and is dared to beat it. The hole travels in the link itself: nothing is uploaded, and renaming a hole doesn't move it. After a round, ↺ plays it again, 🛠 opens it to edit, and 🔗 copies the challenge. The builder keeps your last hole for next time.
Limits
It builds one hole at a time, not a five-hole course, and it isn't a free-drawing level editor: you choose the pieces and the order, and the designer does the rest. Nine pieces at most.
