What is PUTTLE?
PUTTLE is a free daily 3D mini-golf puzzle — like Wordle for golf — that you play in a web browser at https://puttle.golf. Each local calendar day has one 5-hole course on floating sky islands, identical for every player, seeded by the date. There is no download and no account.
Is PUTTLE free?
PUTTLE is completely free to play, with no download and no account; your progress is saved without one. Google AdSense may show ads. Optional one-time tips help keep it that way and do not unlock gameplay. Nothing in the Locker is sold.
Can I tip to keep PUTTLE free?
Yes. Tips are optional one-time payments through Stripe. They do not unlock holes or scores — PUTTLE stays free either way. A tip adds five animated thank-you cosmetics to the Locker, on trust. Choose $3, $5, $10, or another amount at https://puttle.golf/support. Tips are not tax-deductible donations.
Does PUTTLE have ads or in-app purchases?
PUTTLE has no in-app purchases: nothing in the game is sold. The site loads Google AdSense, so ads may show. Optional one-time tips through Stripe do not remove ads or unlock anything in play.
Is PUTTLE like Wordle?
PUTTLE is a Wordle-style daily: one shared puzzle per day, then a spoiler-free scorecard you can share. The puzzle is mini-golf rather than letters — five 3D holes instead of a five-letter word. You play the daily on your own, then compare cards; a separate 🎉 Play with friends mode lets you play friends in real time.
Is PUTTLE a word game?
No. PUTTLE is slingshot putting on a shared 5-hole course. You do not type letters and there is no hidden word. Golf-themed Wordle clones still hide a five-letter word and score guesses like strokes. PUTTLE copies the daily ritual, not the mechanic. More: Wordle for mini golf.
Do all players get the same course?
Every player on a given local calendar date plays the same 5-hole PUTTLE course, seeded by the date. A new course appears at local midnight. Day #1 was 1 June 2026. PUTTLE's worlds rotate by the day, so everyone on a date is in the same world too.
How do you play PUTTLE?
Drag back from anywhere like a slingshot and release to putt. Pull farther for more power; let go near where you started to cancel. The dots show your line to the first bounce, and you judge the pace. Sink all five holes and stay on the islands — rolling off the edge is +1. On a keyboard: ← → aim, ↑ ↓ power, Space putts, C wedge, Z / X spin, U takes your one mulligan, M shows the whole hole, P is photo mode, and Esc opens the menu. Full guide: How to play.
What is par in PUTTLE?
Par is the target number of strokes for a hole and for the five-hole round. Each hole is par 2 to 5. Under par is better, over par is extra strokes, and E means even — right on par. Optional gems do not change par or your score. Full rules: PUTTLE scoring.
What is a good score in PUTTLE?
Even par (E) is a solid round, and anything under par is a good one: par is set to what a good player shoots. A course is usually par 19 to 21: the opener is a par 3 and the finale is usually a par 5 (a par 4 on some days). On the first Design Day courses (dailies #121 and #122, late September 2026), the middle posted round on the leaderboard was about even par and a little over half of the posted rounds were at or under par. What happens if the ball rolls off the island?
Rolling off the island is out of bounds: you take +1 stroke and play again from where you putted. Being swept over a creek's waterfall or swallowed by a vortex counts the same way. Sand slows the ball, ice makes it glide, and moving toys run on the hole's clock. Rails are for bank shots. More: PUTTLE hazards.
What is the difference between Practice and the daily?
The daily is one official attempt at today's shared course and builds your streak. Practice is the World Tour — three courses per world that get harder, scored ★ to ★★★ — plus a random course in any world. Practice never touches your streak or the daily leaderboard. Closing the tab mid-daily does not lose the round; a checkpoint keeps your place.
What is the World Tour in PUTTLE?
The World Tour is PUTTLE's practice mode: 69 fixed courses, three in each of the twenty-three worlds, unlocked in order from easiest to hardest. Finish a course for ★, make par or better for ★★, and go three under par for ★★★. Stars never change the daily or your streak.
What is the daily goal in PUTTLE?
Each daily has one bonus goal that suits its holes — thread the gold pipe, ride the fast lane, collect three gems, or finish with no bogeys. Pull it off for +2 gems and a 🎯 on your share card. The goal never changes your score.
Do I need an account to play PUTTLE?
PUTTLE does not require an account. You play in the browser; your stats and streak are saved on your device and backed up to PUTTLE's server under a random id, and a private save link takes them to another device. The global leaderboard and friends crews are honor-system boards under a public display name (a generated alias until you choose one).
Can I sync my PUTTLE streak between devices?
Yes, with a private save link — no account. PUTTLE backs up your streak, every round, the Locker, trophies and World Tour stars. On the title screen tap ☁️ Your progress is backed up (or ☁️ Your save in the pause menu) and copy your save link, then open it on your phone, tablet or another browser and tap Bring it here. Anything already played on that device is kept too, and from then on both devices play as you and stay in step. PUTTLE and PUTTLE Classic share one streak. If you clear the site's data, opening the link brings your save back. Keep the link to yourself: anyone who opens it can play as you.
What data does PUTTLE collect?
PUTTLE keeps your progress, streaks, stats and cosmetics in your browser. Finishing a daily posts your card to the leaderboard: a random client id made on your device, a public display name (a generated alias until you choose one), your stroke total, when it was posted and your round's ghost. Your progress is also backed up under that client id, so a private save link can bring it to another device. Crews, rooms, gallery holes, Majors, reminders, share links and feedback store what they need. There are no accounts or passwords, and the only email field is an optional reply on feedback. DataFast analytics records page views and game milestones with its own first-party cookies (a random visitor id, no name), PUTTLE keeps anonymous daily tallies, and Google AdSense, Google Ads and X Ads may use cookies. Does PUTTLE work on mobile?
PUTTLE runs in modern mobile and desktop browsers with WebGL 2 at https://puttle.golf and is installable as a PWA, including Add to Home Screen on many phones. Drag back with a finger the same way you would with a mouse; two fingers look around and pinch zooms.
When does the new PUTTLE course appear?
A new 5-hole PUTTLE course appears at local midnight, when your device's calendar date changes. Until then, everyone on that local date is on the same course. More: daily golf game.
Can I undo a putt in PUTTLE?
Yes, once a round. PUTTLE gives every player one mulligan per round: after a putt stops (or drops off the island), ↩︎ Mulligan — or the U key — takes it back, so the stroke and any penalty come off your card and the ball returns to where you putted from. It works on any hole, and everyone has the same one, so the leaderboard stays fair; there is none in a live room or a one-hole challenge. Every other released putt counts, and letting go near where you started the pull cancels a putt before it's made.
What are gems for in PUTTLE?
Gems are optional pickups in PUTTLE, one per hole, set on the daring line. They never change par or your score. Every gem you pick up, in any round, counts toward the balls and trails in the Locker — gems are counted, never spent — and the daily goal pays +2 more. Nothing is sold; a tip adds a thank-you shelf.
What is the Locker, and how do I unlock balls and trails?
The Locker holds PUTTLE's cosmetics — 117 balls and 47 trails — and your trophies. The Classic ball and the Streak trail are free. 28 balls and 19 trails unlock as your gem count grows, from the Tennis ball at 3 gems to Platinum at 1,000. The rest are earned: aces, streaks, dailies, daily goals, trophies, Tour stars, Golden Days, arcade runs, the almanac, holes you build, come-back gifts, weekends and their boxes, a ball per world, foursomes, the Monthly Major, a top three in the Weekly Open or a Major, the Weekend Cup, bingo, and the punch card for October, November, December, April and the holidays. Trophies mark tricks and milestones, each paying 1 to 5 gems once. It's all cosmetic and nothing is sold; five are a thank-you for a tip. The Locker opens from the title screen and the results card.
What is PUTTLE Classic?
PUTTLE Classic is the original pixel-art version of the game, still free at https://puttle.golf/classic. It shares your streak, leaderboard name, and friends crews with PUTTLE 3D, and one daily a day counts — whichever game you play first. A browser without WebGL 2 is offered PUTTLE Classic instead.
Is PUTTLE a 3D game or a pixel-art game?
PUTTLE is 3D. Since 24 September 2026 the game at https://puttle.golf is five 3D mini-golf holes on floating sky islands. Day #1 was 1 June 2026, as a top-down pixel-art game; that original is still free as PUTTLE Classic at https://puttle.golf/classic and shares the same streak. A search result that still calls PUTTLE a pixel golf game is describing PUTTLE Classic.
Who makes PUTTLE?
PUTTLE is an independent game made by one person, not a studio. Day #1 was 1 June 2026, as a pixel-art game; it became a 3D game on 24 September 2026. It is free — ads may show and tips are optional — and it is not affiliated with Wordle or the New York Times. Bugs and ideas reach its maker through the feedback form at https://puttle.golf/support#feedback, and every update is dated on What's new.
Is there a PUTTLE app?
PUTTLE is not listed on the App Store or Google Play. It is a free website at https://puttle.golf that you can install as a progressive web app (PWA) from the browser — Add to Home Screen on many phones — for one-tap daily rounds. See Install PUTTLE.
Is PUTTLE multiplayer?
Yes. 🎉 Friends on the title screen starts a room where up to eight players putt one practice course at the same time — every ball for itself, or a 🤝 Scramble as a team of two. You watch each other's balls roll, with a live scoreboard and emotes, and it never touches your streak or the leaderboard. For two to four players on one device, 👨👩👧 Play with your family is pass-and-play: everyone putts each hole in turn and the fewest strokes wins. The daily itself is played on your own; afterward you compare on the leaderboard, in a crew, in the Weekly Open and the Weekend Cup, or by racing ghosts. No account or voice chat. Can I race a friend in PUTTLE?
Yes, three ways. On the daily, ⚔️ Challenge a friend on the results card sends a link that carries your round as a ghost: whoever opens it races your ghost ball, with a 👻 running total and a verdict on the results card. The challenge can be the whole round or just one hole, and a link opened on a later day still works: it opens that day's course as a replay. You become rivals: their ghost races first on later days, and your results show the head-to-head. Every daily also groups you with up to three other players' ghosts as a foursome and names the winner. For a live race, 🎉 Friends puts up to eight of you on one practice course at once. How long does a PUTTLE round take?
A PUTTLE round is five holes (three on a Showdown Monday) and typically takes a few minutes. There is no timer. You can pause from the menu; an in-progress daily is checkpointed if you close the tab.
Can I replay today's PUTTLE course?
The daily is one official attempt. After you finish, PUTTLE shows your results card rather than a second official round. Earlier days' courses stay open: 📅 Past dailies in the World Tour (or a tap on a day in your stats) replays any of them, unranked — and for days since PUTTLE 3D took over the board, says where you'd have finished that day. The World Tour is always open for more golf, and ↺ Replay re-shows any sink during a round.
What happens if I miss a day of PUTTLE?
PUTTLE streaks count consecutive local calendar days, across PUTTLE 3D and PUTTLE Classic. You start with a streak freeze: a freeze covers one missed weekday or a whole missed weekend instead of resetting the streak, and a longer gap spends one for each missed weekday or weekend. Every seven days of streak re-grants a freeze, and so does a week played Monday to Friday, up to two banked. Without enough freezes the streak resets. More: daily streaks.
Does PUTTLE work offline?
PUTTLE generates the daily course on your device. After you have opened the site once, the game and its 3D engine are cached and can load without a network. The global leaderboard and friends crews need a connection.
Can I skip a hole in PUTTLE?
You cannot skip a hole, but a hole cannot run forever either. When a hole reaches four over par without the ball dropping, PUTTLE shows Pick up and scores it at par + 4 — those strokes still count — then moves you on to the next island.
How do I share my PUTTLE score?
After a round, Share result sends the spoiler-free emoji text with a link: each hole's toy icon over a colored square for its score. On a phone it opens the share sheet; on a computer it copies the text. A friend who opens the link races your ghost on the same course. 🖼 Picture card makes a scorecard image — square, story or wide — over a still of the day's islands, to share or save. ⚔️ Challenge a friend sends a link to race your ghost on the whole round or on one hole, and 🎬 Clip records your best hole as a short vertical video. Once enough players have posted, the text also says where your card stands, such as "top 12%". Nothing shows your lines.
What devices and browsers does PUTTLE support?
PUTTLE runs in current Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Edge on desktop and mobile, with JavaScript and WebGL 2. Mouse, touch, and keyboard all work. Graphics quality adjusts itself and can be set to Low, Medium, or High in the menu. A browser without WebGL 2 is offered PUTTLE Classic instead.
Is there a Wordle for golf?

Is PUTTLE a golf simulator?
No. PUTTLE is 3D putt-putt, not a golf sim. There are no drivers, swing meters, or 18-hole championship courses, just a putter and a wedge. You slingshot-putt through loops, pipes, and windmills on floating islands and try to beat par.
What is a bank shot in PUTTLE?
A bank shot is a putt that uses a rail. It scores the same as any other putt — the stroke count does not change — though sinking one after banking off two rails earns a trophy. Many cups sit around a bend, so banks are often the line. More: mini golf tips and strategy.
Is PUTTLE good for kids?
PUTTLE is a short, free, family-friendly mini-golf puzzle with no chat, no account and no timer. The drag-and-release putt is easy to pick up; younger players may want help with the timed toys and the island edges. A finished daily is posted to the leaderboard under a display name — a generated alias such as Lucky Otter unless one is typed in, and a crude name shows as an alias. Other players' names appear on the board and over the ghost balls beside you; 👻 Players' ghosts in the menu turns those ghosts off. Can I play PUTTLE at school or on a Chromebook?
Yes, if your school's network lets the site through: PUTTLE runs in the browser, so Chrome on a Chromebook or Safari on an iPad plays it with no download, no install and no account. What games are like Wordle?
Wordle-likes are short daily puzzles everyone shares, then a spoiler-free scorecard. PUTTLE is the mini-golf version: five holes instead of five letters. It is not a word game. See games like Wordle.

Is PUTTLE the same as Puttdle, putt.day or PuttDaily?
No. They are separate daily mini-golf games with similar names, and PUTTLE is not affiliated with any of them. putt.day serves one hole a day, new at midnight Pacific. PuttDaily serves a three-hole course a day. Puttdle — spelled with a d, at puttdle.com — serves five holes a day. Is PUTTLE the same as the Puttle putting game and putting mat?
No. PUTTLE at https://puttle.golf is a free daily 3D mini-golf puzzle, a video game you play in the browser. The other Puttle is a physical golf putting game — you putt a real ball at a set of pins — and its putting mat. They are unrelated products that share a name.
Is PUTTLE a golf puzzle game?

How is PUTTLE different from other daily mini golf games?

How is today's PUTTLE course generated?
The daily 5-hole course is generated on your device from the local calendar date. There is no server-sent layout. Everyone on that date gets the same holes, the same par, the same toys, and the same world. A new course appears at local midnight. Day #1 was 1 June 2026. How the reset works: daily golf puzzle.
How does the PUTTLE leaderboard work?
The leaderboard is an honor-system ranking of stroke totals on the day's shared course, shared with PUTTLE Classic. You do not need an account: finishing a daily posts your card automatically, under a display name of at most 16 characters (a generated alias until you choose one). The server stores the official par for the day, so score-to-par is not something a client can fake. Optional friends crews use a 6-letter code. The Weekly Open adds up each player's daily cards from Monday to Sunday; more rounds rank first, then the lowest total to par. What is stored: Privacy. Stroke math: PUTTLE scoring.
Is PUTTLE accessible?
PUTTLE can be played with a keyboard as well as a mouse or a finger, with Shift for fine aim. Reduced-motion preferences cut camera shake, shorten flyovers, and stop the camera chasing the rolling ball. Scorecards use shapes as well as color. There is no chat. What are the twenty-three PUTTLE worlds?
PUTTLE rotates twenty-three worlds by the day: Blossom Isles (moon bridges), Sunset Mesa (dust devils), Frostpeak (wind gaps), Neon Nights (laser gates), Lagoon Atoll (blowholes), Cosmic Drift (zero-G jumps), Coral Deep (bubble lifts), Backyard Giants (sprinklers), Dino Valley (long-necks and tar pits), Pixel Park (mushroom hops), Tabletop (Snakes & Ladders), Rocky Mountains (the rockslide), Mount Olympus (lightning gates), Crystal Caverns (stalactites), Candy Kingdom (the chocolate river), Asgard (longship oars), Sands of Egypt (scarab rollers), Yōkai Festival (deer-scarers), Tír na nÓg (fairy rings), Clockwork Skies (escapement gates), Treetop Hideout (ziplines), Seaside Boardwalk (bumper cars) and Savanna Safari (zebra stampedes). All twenty-three are in the daily rotation from #246 (1 February 2027), and in practice now. Each has its own look, song and toys, and nearly every course visits its special. What world is today's PUTTLE course?
PUTTLE's world depends only on the date, so everyone is in the same one, and the title screen names it. From daily #246 (Monday 1 February 2027, Savanna Safari) twenty-three worlds repeat every twenty-three days in a fixed order, so every world comes round on every day of the week. Until then the worlds already in go round in the same order. 25–31 October is Haunted Hollow every year and US Thanksgiving Day is Harvest Homestead. More: which world is today.
Does PUTTLE have music?
Yes. Each PUTTLE world has its own song, played in the browser by a synthesized band — Petal Path in Blossom Isles, Night Drive in Neon Nights, Reef Lullaby in Coral Deep, Switchback Stomp on fiddle and banjo in the Rocky Mountains, Geode Lullaby in Crystal Caverns, Gumdrop Galop in Candy Kingdom, a Music Box Waltz in Haunted Hollow, and the rest on PUTTLE worlds. The band picks up while the ball is rolling, and the menu has separate Sound and Music switches.
Can PUTTLE remind me to play?
Yes, if you ask it to. The results card offers a nudge for tomorrow's course (and 🔔 Remind me daily is in the menu): one notification a day, around 9am your local time, only if you haven't played yet — no evening streak warning. It arrives as a web push, so it reaches a closed PUTTLE in Chrome, Edge and Firefox (while the browser is running), Safari on a Mac, Android, and an iPhone or iPad once PUTTLE is on the Home Screen, where the results card shows the three taps to put it there. In Brave, turn on "Use Google services for push messaging" in its privacy settings first. 📅 Put it in my calendar adds a daily 9am calendar event instead, with no notification permission. Turning the reminder off deletes the subscription. Install: Install PUTTLE.
Can I make my own mini golf hole in PUTTLE?
Yes. The 🛠 Hole Builder (in the World Tour) lets you drag up to 16 pieces onto a hole — toys, dressings, turns, straights — tilt or step the fairway, pick a world and a green, and name it. It lays the hole out for real and shows it from above with its par. ▶ Play it plays it as a one-hole course, and 🔗 Copy link gives you a challenge link that opens your hole for a friend. Once a robot has sunk your hole under the game's real physics you can publish it to 🌟 Player holes, a gallery where anyone can play it; the most-played hole of each week becomes the next week's hole of the week. What is the PUTTLE Weekly Open?
The Weekly Open adds up each player's posted daily cards from Monday to Sunday. Standings rank more rounds first — play all seven to contend — then the lowest total to par. It has its own tab on the leaderboard, for everyone and for your friends crew, with each week shown as seven pips, and the title and results show where you stand. Once a week is over everywhere, its winner gets the 👑 Crown ball and is named on everyone's title screen for the week after, the top three earn the Podium trail, and the top ten get gems. What is the PUTTLE Weekend Cup?
The Weekend Cup adds up each player's posted daily cards from Saturday and Sunday on a board of its own. Standings rank players who played both days first, then the lowest total to par. It has its own tab on the leaderboard beside the Weekly Open, for everyone and for your friends crew; the first Cup is the weekend of 17–18 October 2026. Once the weekend is over everywhere, its winner gets the 🌞 Weekend Cup ball and the top ten get gems. The weekend has more: finishing a Friday's daily wraps a weekend box that opens on Saturday's or Sunday's first tee, and Saturdays are Funhouse days (Halloween aside), with gems worth double all day and a party in the cup at every sink. What is the Sunday Signature in PUTTLE?
From daily #133 (Sunday 11 October 2026), every Sunday's fifth hole is a designed set piece instead of a generated one: three obstacles in a row (four on The Tower) as a par 5, with a spot for the world's own obstacle when the course hasn't used it yet. They rotate week to week — The Gauntlet, Castle Siege, Sky Circus, White Water, Clockwork, and The Tower. The title and the hole card mark it ⭐ Sunday Signature. In Halloween week the night's own finale takes its place.
Does PUTTLE have a Halloween course?
Yes. From 25 to 31 October every daily is in Haunted Hollow, an event world under a harvest moon, and each date is a themed night with its own designed finale — Graveyard Shift, Pumpkin Patch, Witch's Wood, Haunted Manor, Crypt Crawl, Vampire's Castle, and All Hallows' Eve. The Hollow brings phantom gates, open graves, zombie hands and a spider's drop. Random Haunted Hollow courses are in practice from 1 October to 7 November, and from 1 to 24 October the other worlds wear autumn colors. More: Halloween mini golf.
Does PUTTLE have a Thanksgiving course?
Yes. From Monday to Sunday of US Thanksgiving week (23–29 November 2026) every world is set for the feast: each daily brings feast toys (wild turkeys, a gravy river, a lazy Susan…), hole 5 is a themed set piece, and every ball wears a costume. Thanksgiving Day itself is in Harvest Homestead, a farm at harvest, where the turkeys trot on holes 1, 3 and 5, and a daily played that day earns the Pumpkin Pie ball. Any day, a link on Thanksgiving mini golf opens a Harvest Homestead practice course.
Does PUTTLE have a fall theme?
Yes. Every world in PUTTLE's rotation wears autumn from 1 to 24 October each year, each under its own fall name — Maple season in Blossom Isles, Raking season in Backyard Giants, and so on. Can I play old PUTTLE courses?
Yes. 📅 Past dailies in the World Tour lists every earlier day's course, and a tap on a day in your stats or your Sky Atlas opens it too. Replays are just for fun — no streak, no board — but for days since PUTTLE 3D took over the leaderboard, the results say where you'd have finished that day. Everyone who plays an old date gets that date's course.
What is the Sky Atlas in PUTTLE?
The Sky Atlas is a map of your own PUTTLE history: every daily you have finished on this device, in PUTTLE 3D or PUTTLE Classic, is a small island in that day's world, laid out on a spiral with the newest outside. Rope bridges join consecutive days (gold once a run reaches a week), a puff of cloud marks a missed day, and each island's flag takes the color of that day's score. Tap an island for that day's card and a replay of its course. It opens from the title screen once you have one island, and from the results card after a daily.
What is the PUTTLE Monthly Major?
The Monthly Major is one nine-hole course a calendar month, the same for everyone, with a leaderboard of its own. It opens on the 1st and stays open all month: your first round is the one that counts — you can put it down and pick it up later — and its card goes on the Major's board when you finish. After that you can replay the course for fun. October's Major is in Haunted Hollow; other months move through the first eight worlds, Blossom Isles to Backyard Giants. Finishing one unlocks the Laurel trail, and finishing one under par the Green Jacket ball. Its winner gets the 🏆 Champion ball and is named on the next Major, the top three earn the Podium trail, and the top ten get gems. It never touches your daily streak. More: PUTTLE leaderboards.
What are the twist days in PUTTLE?
From daily #136 (Wednesday 14 October 2026), every Wednesday's daily plays under a twist, taking turns: Windy Wednesday (a steady breeze pushes every putt the same way, and a vane in the corner shows where it's blowing), Mirror day (the whole course drawn back to front), Night golf (the islands after dark, lit by lamps and a glowing ball), and Moon day (gravity at six tenths). From daily #155 (2 November 2026) Tuesdays and Fridays get one too. It's a house rule from a deck of sixteen: Wednesdays deal the old four plus Fog, Iron day and Heavy day; Tuesdays and Fridays deal Rubber day, Magnet day, Big Cup day, Tiny ball day, Dead ball, Ice greens, Sticky day, Putter only and Chip-off. No rule comes back within about a month, and par allows for it. Halloween week has none.
What are the Monday formats in PUTTLE?
From daily #155 (2 November 2026) Mondays take turns: Sprint (five par 3s), Marathon, Ladder, Big one first, Island hop and Showdown (three holes).
What do I get for playing PUTTLE every day?
Besides the streak: each daily you finish wraps a come-back gift that opens on the first tee of your next daily (the first is the Sunrise ball, then gems, then the Ribbon trail), in October punches the October card (a Maple ball at 5 punches, a Falling Leaves trail at 10, a Jack-o'-lantern ball at 20, and a Will-o'-wisp trail for playing on Halloween), and stamps your world passport — a stamp for each of the twenty-three worlds, and the Globetrotter ball at the eighth. They are on the Clubhouse card, which opens from the title and the results. All of it is cosmetic and none of it costs anything.
What is the Gamble on a PUTTLE finale?
From daily #134 (12 October 2026) some finales carry a shortcut marked by a gold ring barely wider than the ball — from #138 after the hole's last toy, on about one finale in three. Over a brink, a gap in the outer rail above a drop, the ring hangs in the gap: a firm putt through its middle lands on the green, one either side is off the island for +1. Elsewhere it stands inside a bend; a Ring Vault or boss finale has none. Some finales are combos, one toy feeding the next: a conveyor belt that throws you at a jump, or a jump into the bumpers.
