Daily golf game
PUTTLE is a daily golf game: one 5-hole 3D mini-golf course per local calendar date, a daily golf puzzle that resets when your calendar does. Everyone on that local date plays the same five holes on the same floating islands. Play at https://puttle.golf.
One course per local date
The course is seeded by the date, not by your account (there is no account). If you and a friend share a calendar date, you share the holes, the par, the toys, and the world. A new course appears at local midnight, when the date on your device changes — not at a single global UTC hour. The title screen counts down to the next one.
Day #1 was 1 June 2026. Twenty-three worlds rotate in order — Savanna Safari, Coral Deep, Clockwork Skies, Blossom, Candy Kingdom, Pixel Park, Canyon, Frost, Yōkai Festival, Treetop Hideout, Backyard Giants, Neon, Lagoon, Asgard, Cosmic, Crystal Caverns, Seaside Boardwalk, Tír na nÓg, Mount Olympus, Rocky Mountains, Tabletop, Dino Valley, Sands of Egypt — so Tuesday is never Monday in a new coat of paint, and since twenty-three and seven share no factor, every world comes round on every day of the week. Savanna Safari is in the daily rotation from daily #246 (Monday 1 February 2027). The PUTTLE week
The PUTTLE week runs Monday to Sunday — day #1 was a Monday — and some days of it have a shape of their own, the same for every player on that date:
- Monday to Sunday: the Weekly Open. Every daily card you post adds to your week. More rounds rank first, so play all seven to contend, then the lowest total to par. A new week starts each Monday. More: leaderboards at a glance.
- Monday: a new shape. From daily #155 (Monday 2 November 2026) each Monday's round takes one of six formats in turn: Sprint (five par 3s), Marathon (a par 4, then four par 5s), Ladder (par 2, 3, 4, 5, 5), Big one first (the finale first, down to a par 3), Island hop (every green across water) and Showdown (three holes, each a double feature). Halloween and Thanksgiving weeks have none.
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: a twist. From daily #136 (Wednesday 14 October 2026) every Wednesday's daily plays under a twist: Windy Wednesday, Mirror day, Night golf or Moon day. From daily #155 (2 November 2026) Tuesdays and Fridays get one too: a house rule from a deck of sixteen, never the same one within about a month. Halloween week has none.
- Friday: the weekend box. From daily #138 (Friday 16 October 2026) finishing Friday's daily wraps a box that opens on the first tee of Saturday's or Sunday's daily, and the results card shows what the weekend holds.
- Saturday: the Funhouse. From daily #139 (Saturday 17 October 2026) gems count double all day, and every sink sets off that Saturday's party in the cup — confetti, balloons, fireworks or bubbles, taking turns. Halloween's Saturday has none.
- Saturday and Sunday: the Weekend Cup. From the weekend of 17–18 October 2026 the two weekend cards add up on a board of their own: players who played both days rank first, then the lowest total to par.
- Sunday: the Sunday Signature. From daily #133 (Sunday 11 October 2026) every Sunday's finale is a designed set piece — The Gauntlet, Castle Siege, Sky Circus, White Water, Clockwork, or The Tower — three obstacles in a row (four on The Tower), with a spot for the world's own special when the course hasn't used it yet, and always a par 5. - The 1st of the month: the Monthly Major. One nine-hole course opens on the 1st and stays open all month, with a board of its own. Your first round is the one that counts. More: mini golf with friends.
- October: fall, then Halloween. Every world in the rotation wears autumn from 1 to 24 October each year — holes, pars and physics are unchanged — and from 25 to 31 October the dailies move to Haunted Hollow.
One more thing is tied to the hole, not the weekday: from daily #134 (Monday 12 October 2026) many finales carry a shortcut marked by a gold ring, the Gamble (PUTTLE hazards).
Official card vs practice
The daily is one official attempt. Close the tab mid-round and a checkpoint keeps your place. You get one mulligan a round: ↩︎ Mulligan, or the U key, takes back your last putt, with its stroke and any penalty (PUTTLE scoring). After you hole out, the results card is your card for the day.
For more golf, the World Tour has three fixed practice courses in every world, scored ★ to ★★★, and every world deals random courses too; 📅 Past dailies replays any earlier day's course. Practice never touches the streak or the daily leaderboard.
The daily goal
Every daily comes with one bonus goal that suits its holes — thread the gold pipe, skim the vortex, ride the fast lane, collect three gems, or finish with no bogeys. The title and the goal hole's intro card show it. Pull it off for +2 gems and a 🎯 on your share card. It never changes your score.
What a finished daily gives you
Finishing a PUTTLE daily gives you more than a score:
- A foursome verdict. Every daily seats you with up to three of the day's other players, by their ghosts. The scorecard between holes says where you stand, and the results name the winner. More: mini golf with friends.
- A come-back gift. Each daily you finish wraps a gift that opens on the first tee of your next daily: the first is the Sunrise ball, then gems, then the Ribbon trail.
- A punch on the October card. In October each finished daily punches the October card: a Maple ball at 5 punches, a Falling Leaves trail at 10, a Jack-o'-lantern ball at 20, and a Will-o'-wisp trail for playing on Halloween. More: Halloween mini golf.
- A passport stamp. The world passport has a stamp for each of the twenty-three worlds you finish a 3D daily in, and the Globetrotter ball comes with the eighth stamp.
- A reminder, if you ask. The results card offers one nudge a day for tomorrow's course, around 9am your local time and only if you haven't played yet. Where it reaches you: Install PUTTLE.
All of it is cosmetic. None of it costs anything, and none of it changes a score.
Streaks
Streaks count consecutive local days, and they are shared with PUTTLE Classic: one daily a day counts, whichever game you play first. You start with a streak freeze. A freeze covers one missed weekday or a whole missed weekend (Saturday and Sunday count as one), and a longer gap spends one for each missed weekday or weekend; without enough, the streak resets. Every seven days of streak re-grants a freeze, and so does a week played Monday to Friday, up to two banked, so a player who plays every school day keeps their streak through the weekend. The title warns you when a freeze is on the line.
Share it like a daily puzzle
After the round, Share result sends a spoiler-free emoji line — each hole's toy icon over a colored square for its score — with a link. 🖼 Picture card makes a scorecard image over the day's islands (square, story or wide), and 🎬 Clip turns your best hole into a short vertical video. The link carries your round as a ghost — a friend who opens it races your ghost ball on the same course, and the two of you become rivals, with a running head-to-head. More: mini golf with friends.
